The Minyon Falls, Nightcap National Park...

Yesterday we drove 50 minutes (We always love using our long driving times in worship/prayer time) to get to the Gorgeous Minyon Falls at the Nightcap National Park.
We first drove and walked a short distance to a lookout and viewed the Minyon falls from the side view. We then drove to another lookout and viewed the falls from a front on distant view. Finally we then did the 2 hour Minyon Loop walk (our favourite) that took us directly to the base of the Minyon Falls. The Minyon Falls were absolutely stunning and the girls and Shane agreed that it was their favourite national park walk so far. It was the closest we have been to a waterfall and we all enjoyed climbing up the many steep rocks to get to the beautiful Minyon Falls. It was am amazing experience and once we were at the base of the falls, we enjoyed sitting on the rocks right next to the falls, enjoying the serenity while we were being sprayed by the mist of the stunning waterfall. It was AWESOME!

Have a look at some our photos of our Nightcap national park and Minyon falls experience...

We all agreed we'd love to do this walk again in the future, it really was a beautiful, challenging walk, worth the end result.
Next time we will go in warmer weather to enjoy swimming in the water :-)

Have a good one and Take Care,
