Merry Christmas And Happy New Year (2017/2018)...

We hope you all had a Merry CHRISTMAS and we hope you all have a GREAT New Year xo
We had a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas day. We have a tradition of checking out some of the best Christmas lights on Christmas eve often after a Christmas eve church service and so that's what we did. First we went to Kingdom city Church an what a great evening we had. Church was fantastic, worship time with Kingdom City Church was FANTASTIC and the message was GREAT...after we had some dinner and we then went and checked out the beautiful Christmas lights all over different parts of Perth.
Check them out...
It was great being out amongst the community checking out the Christmas lights...
Kingdom City Church...
And then it was Christmas morning...

I LOVE watching the Joy in my families faces, Love it!
Gorgeous Girls...

Delicious Lunch and Dessert. The girls also made a FANTASTICALLY Delicious Mars Bar slice (their own version) and a Christmassy one (also their own version) with some extra tasty ingredients in it...It was so good Shane and I have requested them to make it again next year, Yum!
The SPUNK!
And of course we went to the beach on Christmas day after our lunch. Cottosloe beach is one of our many WA favourites and about a 40 minute drive from us, so we went, we relaxed, ate chewy German gingerbread biscuits, yummy cherries and refreshed ourselves in the clear, cool water. The beach was packed with others who had the same idea, it was BLISS!
Sandy Feet..Love it!
Another tradition of ours is making a cake to celebrate Jesus on Christmas day and to share with each other what we are grateful to HIM for over the last year, and what we look forward to the next year. So we did this! We also film it, it's great looking back at when the girls were only toddlers, sharing what they are grateful for and reflecting on why we celebrate Christmas...because OUR SAVIOUR was born so that HE would reunite us with God the Father, because HE LOVES US and wants a relationship with us, it's simple really.
So the presents we receive and give a GREAT, the family time is GREAT, the food is oh so GREAT but we like to always remember why to us Christians this day exists...It exists so we can celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ.

We had a FANTASTIC Christmas one of the best we've had. I hope you all had a FANTASTIC Christmas also, and I hope you have a WONDERFUL, Safe and Blessed New Year.

Take Care,
Love The Rech Family xoxox
