Zoey's Big Day Out...

So the main reason we have stopped in Traralgon is to have a visit with our cute fur girl, Zoey!
If you have followed our journey from the start you would know that with sadness in our hearts, we left our Zoey dog temporarily behind. It was very sad to leave her behind and travel without her, however we have made a BEAUTIFUL friend because of this decision we made late last year. Deb and her beautiful son are Zoey's foster family, they have been looking after Zoey VERY well, and we THANK GOD for bringing them into our lives. They are VERY SPECIAL people and we adore them!
So over the last month, the girls and I have really missed Zoey. We've had some tears and sad moments thinking about her and missing her. Shane and I had a chat and a think, and spoke with Zoey's foster family, and we decided to surprise our girls with a visit with Zoey.
Initially we were only going to have an overnight stop in Traralgon before heading to Lakes Entrance, but since we decided Zoey was going to visit with us, we have decided to spend a week here with her, YAY, YAY, YAY :-) This is VERY EXCITING for us all!
The girls didn't have a clue that Zoey was visiting with us, it was an AWESOME, EPIC surprise :-)

So this is how it all happened on Thursday...Try and keep up, Hehehe...

Shane woke at 4:30am, quickly got ready, and left Ocean Grove to head to Sunbury to pick up Zoey. Myself and the girl's woke a few hours later. We had to pack up, pull down the awning, clean and pack up the whole site, ready for when Shane got back. We were on a tight schedule!
Shane called me to let me know he would be back in 10 minutes, so myself and the girls went down to the river, so we could set up the surprise...
I distracted the girls by taking a heap of photos of them while they had their backs to me, while Shane sneaked up to us with the video camera in one hand to capture their reaction, and Zoey on the lead in the other hand. This last black and white pic was the last pic I took before I said to the girls, "Look at that dog girls," and then this happened....

And they've been inseparable ever since...
The girls were shocked and delighted and FULL of JOY when they seen Zoey. There were shrieks of delight, it was wonderful. It was an AMAZINGLY EPIC SURPRISE...We are thrilled for them and thrilled to have Zoey with us :-D

To Be Continued.......
