An Amazing Two Years Of Our Crazy Faith Led Journey...

Yep, as of December 14th we have been travelling and living on the road all over Australia for two whole years, WOWSA!
This CRAZY, FAITH led journey of ours has been AMAZING, Adventurous, Eye opening, Crazy, Difficult at times and Absolutely Life changing.
So far we've made some Amazing memories together as a family, we've grown individually and as a family unit, and also in our relationship with God. We've made many friends along the way, we've tasted so many flavours of ice cream, been to a crazy amount of beaches, Church hopped like crazy around Australia, nearly had an endless summer apart from the floods we experienced in Sydney, N.S.W.  We've seen so much, explored so many different parts of Australia, found some hidden gems, and truly LIVED life the way we want to live it, and it's been AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC!
The last two years have been a combination of travelling around Australia and living on the road in different parts of Australia...We've moved around Australia for about 1 year and lived in a small outback town for about 1 year. All our experiences have been eye opening, heart warming, fantastic, crazy and so much more.
We've explored Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and parts of Northern Territory and Western Australia, WOWSA!
We still have South Australia and parts of Northern Territory, and Western Australia to explore, and maybe even Tasmania, we'll just see how it all goes.

On our Journey we've become experienced at break downs on the side of the road. In two years we've had 3 major break downs and have had to use RAC on 4 occasions. The first time we broke down involved a whole lot of tears, the last time had us on the side of the road with our awning down, lazying about on our recliner chairs with our fan on, enjoying our lunch and a cold drink while we waited for the tow truck driver to arrive, so yea, we've grown and matured as people big time.
We certainly try to enjoy the moment, make the most of everyday and try not to dwell on the downs of life and instead Embrace the good in life, we have SOOOOO VERY much to be GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for.
I am so very grateful for my WONDERFUL husband, he is my best friend, my partner in life, my lover and I truly adore him and am deeply in love with him, I am grateful for our relationship in which I believe God has blessed. I am grateful for my 2 very gorgeous Girls, watching them grow into young ladies is truly a privilege and I am very proud of them. Our Girls have experienced so much in a short while and I can see how it all has shaped them for the better, both the ups and downs of the last 2 years, they are lovely young ladies and I am blessed to call them my daughters.
I am grateful for our faith led journey, it has been more then what we could have ever imagined. So, Sooooo much more. This journey has truly been FAITH led. We knew what we wanted out of this journey but we've been given so very much more. We jumped in head first, sold our home, gave up our jobs, left school and friends and family behind to explore Australia, to connect on a deeper level with each other and God and other people, hopefully showing Gods beautiful love to those we encounter daily...This journey has been tremendous, and we never would have thought we would have experienced so much, changed so much, lived so much and grown so much.

With all the ups and downs of the last two years people have wondered how our relationship is going, is Shane and I tearing each other apart, I'll tell you with 100% honesty and Shane would say the same thing, we a 100% LOVE BIRDS, we adore each other. We've always had an extra special marriage, however, this journey has strengthened that bond between us even more. I'm so grateful for him and I love experiencing our faith led journey with him and our wonderful daughters, LIFE is truly Beautiful, truly a gift and we are living it how we chose to live it. Does that mean Life is always perfect and goes to plan? Does it mean that we get what we want all the time? Nope it doesn't, however, it's up to us to embrace the GOOD (and look for the good in life) and deal with and confront the bad and pick ourselves back up, dust ourselves off and keep moving forward...Life goes so quickly here on earth and I'm so glad and grateful for the life myself, Shane and our girls have...It really is a GOOD life, Thank You God xo

Pray for Gods protective hand to be upon us, that we would remain safe and be also filled with HIS Joy. Pray that God will have us where He wants us and that people would see HIS love in us. Sand boarding was a whole lot of laughs, we've enjoyed many trail hikes, explored numerous national parks, Great Barrier Reef boating and snorkeling adventure was an enjoyable experience, Outback horse races are a hoot, Queensland's theme parks were a heap of FUN, Fishing and catching red claw yabbies in the outback was delicious, Scenic world exploring the blue mountains was breathtaking, the plane trip to Perth was a fav with the girls, swimming in the many natural water ways was amazing...we've experienced so many wonderful adventures 😍

Also, some of our fav things to do were the simple things like enjoying a BBQ by an open fire and toasting marshmallows. Meeting and connecting with many people and having a great old chat, even making a heap of friends along the way, board game fun with the girls, checking out many churches has been enjoyable, supporting churches and being part of the local communities and simply buying a delicious ice cream, walking along the beach or lazing about reading a whole book in one sitting...I reckon the simple things we've done have been some of the best moments we've had together...Man, I love my family and our life together, we are sooooo blessed, so blessed...I am truly Grateful xo
