Life is GOOD...

I'm sitting here in my caravan home with my 2 gorgeous girls, it hasn't stopped raining here in Camden throughout the night and throughout the day so far. Our annexe is partially in nearly ankle deep water (the ground is on a lean towards the caravan), and we can't go anywhere because my hubby has the car at work with him...So I'm sitting here thinking and dreaming of the beach and sunshine, sandy feet and jumping waves, long walks and ice cream on the beach! Oh I hope we get some sunshine and beach fun again soon :-)

We only have 10 sleeps (yep, I'm like a kid and count by sleeps, ha!) left here in Sydney and by the time we leave here we would have spent 2 whole months here in Sydney, N.S.W.
I can't believe it, an area we thought we'd be happy to spend only 1 or 2 weeks in, has turned out to be 2 months, WOWSA! I'm not going to say to much about Sydney at the moment (that's for a later post), I will say that even though we are nearly 6 months into our journey, we have a long way to go.

This journey is about travelling around Australia and exploring each beautiful state of ours. It is about meeting many different and wonderful people along the way that have made this journey so much more special. It is about family time and investing time and love in each other, bonding so much more with my spunky hubby and our gorgeous girls. It is about reflection, reflecting on what is important in life. it is about ministry time, taking up ministry opportunities as we travel around Australia. It is most definitely about ministering to people as we travel around, talking with people about God and His Great, Real, BEAUTIFUL LOVE for them.
This journey is about God...
I know some of you won't get this, but its about putting our lives at the altar/at the feet of God and allowing HIM to do as He pleases with us, with our lives, both as individuals and as a family. You know what? God is leading us, He is working in us and through us. He is refining us, and dare I say it...He is making diamonds out of us, to be used for His Kingdom, for His Purpose, for His Glory as individuals and as a family! Thank You God xo

Our investment, the things we've sacrificed, our home, our money, our jobs, our 2nd vehicle, family, community, friends, the girls school and school friends, personal possessions, it is all already worth the sacrifice, it is all worth this journey we have been on so far.
It is worth all the people we've had the privilege to meet, worth all the places we've been to and seen, all the churches we've been a part of, worth the family bonding time, worth the ministry time, worth the many seeds we've sown in peoples lives and the people who have given their lives to God.
I don't think I'll ever forget all the people we've ministered to and especially those who have given there lives to God, what an absolute privilege to be part of this very special moment in their lives.
This journey has most definitely been worth giving everything up!

I'm reminded of the above scripture...And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good for those who love God and are called
according to His purpose for them...Romans 8:28.
I love these words, Love them.

You know I look ahead into the future, and the future for the Rech family doesn't frighten me, it excites me :-)
We may get to the end of this journey and end up back in our home town in Victoria. We may buy another house, put the girls back into school. We may go into full time ministry, live a more balanced life...however, we may also get to the end of our journey and remain living in our caravan for a long period of time while we work and save just to rent a house, we may end up in a different state all together...but you know what, I have a real peace in my heart no matter what happens.
Obviously buying a home quickly, full time ministry and a balanced family/church/work life would be a more appealing outcome, however whatever happens will happen...We are open to anything!
Whether it be returning to our home town in Victoria, moving to a different state, eventually renting or buying another home one day, P.T work and P.T ministry, F.T work, homeschooling permanently, whatever happens we are at peace with it.
You know I have no fear of the future and what it will bring, whatever happens, we will make the most of it!

Our Faith Led Journey has already had so many unexpected twists and turns along the way, and I'm expecting it will have many more...and I'm Sooooo looking forward to it!

So in concluding this very long post (If you've read this far...Thank You, You're Awesome), I just want to say if you have a dream, if you have goals, if God has called you to do something for Him, Do IT! Go all out and just DO IT!
Don't be afraid to reach for the stars...Just remember though, these dreams, goals and callings on our lives usually always come with sacrifices we need to make, so be sure to be willing to make some sacrifices to see your dreams, goals and most of all God given calling come to pass...It will be worth it xo

Even though I'm sitting here in our caravan home and it still hasn't stopped raining, in fact it's pouring harder than before and our annexe is getting wetter and wetter, I don't care....I feel sooooooo BLESSED right here, right now. I LOVE God, I LOVE my Family and I LOVE my Life...LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT and it is SOOOOOOO GOOD!!

I Hope Everyone is Well and Enjoying LIFE xoxoxox
Love Dimi xo
