Darwin FUN...

We've had a great week at Darwin. We decided to stay for 5 nights and ended up staying for 7 and then we had to refrain from staying longer. We could easily slip into a relaxed lifestyle here, yes it's a city, and we aren't into city living, however, it is a smallish city and very relaxed and there is sooo much to like about Darwin. We could easily get work here, find a permanent church here and spend some time living here, however, we want to keep moving along for now, exploring many other areas and seeing what else there is out there to enjoy and explore.

Check out some of our Darwin, Northern Territory photos...
We stayed in a very clean, well kept oasis in Palmerston, a suburb of Darwin...
Our site..One of the best sites we've had right in front of the pool..Best site!

The Gorgeous sunset as we ate our delicious dinner on the beach with 100's of other people...
On Sunday we went to Hillsong church in Palmerston...
It was Elissa's first experience at youth group since being in highschool...Elissa loved it!
The Travelling Bible made it to Darwin, Northern Territory...
We spent hours at this great and free museum in the Northern Territory...
More visits to the beach..This time Zoey gets to come too...
Can you tell very cheeky Zoey has missed the beach, HaHaHa!

What a great stay we had in Darwin. As the days went on, the place just grew on us and we could have stayed longer, and settled longer, but we want to keep exploring. We've seen the same families and couples travelling in the same direction as us since leaving Cloncurry, so it's been good to see them all again in Darwin and it was fab to meet 2 more families in Darwin, the kids spent many days hanging out together, that was wonderful. I believe God set us up again, and Shane was able to minister a bit, which is always a bonus.
We enjoyed the beach, the free water slides, the wave pool, eating some ice cream, the museum, playgrounds, out and about exploring Darwin, Hillsong church in Palmerston, however, the highlight for me was the Mindil markets on the Mindil beach, it really is a foodies market, we LOVED it, it had a wonderful atmosphere, we will love to go again some day.
Have a good one!
