Family, Beach, God...

Since we started our travels we haven't been able to have our very loud prayer and worship nights the way we usually like to (Praising and Singing to God because of Who he is). Back at our old home, we would pump the music and loudly sing, dance and pray to God, many times with our girls and without the girls. Our wonderful neighbours would even hear us because we would be so loud, however they would never complain...they are Awesome :-)

Since our travels started, we haven't been able to pray and worship as loudly as we would like (nope, you don't have to pray/worship loud, we just like to), we have many more neighbours now and we don't want to start a riot, Hahaha, just kidding!

Other than pray and worship quietly, our solution to our worship dance party is to take advantage of our long drives, pump the music and pray and worship God as loud and as much as we like to. The other solution is what we did the other night and have continued to do, it is the best most perfect solution for us right now.

We decided to go to the beach and play tennis and make sand castles together. Shane also brought our speaker and tablet with all our fave songs on it. We hit the beach in the early evening for family fun time and to worship God and cover Warrnambool in prayer. It was totally AWESOME, the best place to worship God is at the beach in my opinion. I already feel really close to Him there, so it is our perfect solution.
Check out the pics...
We want to teach our children many good things. We want them to have compassion in their hearts, we want them to love people and love helping others, we want them to have great manners, respect themselves and others. There are a whole lot of things we want to instill in our girls, but most of all we want them to have a heart that yearns to worship our creator, we want that most of all for them...because we are NOTHING without Him, NOTHING!

Imagine if someone saved your life...imagine if someone saved your child's life...would you ignore him? Imagine a man was beaten beyond recognition to pay the price for YOUR wrongdoing, imagine a stranger took the punishment for your wrong doing and because of that, you were free from punishment, your wrongdoings were wiped clean. How would you see that person? Do you think you would feel love in your heart for him? Do you think that you would owe him your life?

I want my children to have a heart that yearns to worship God because He deserves it :-)

I Hope you all have a Great day!
If you pray, please pray along with us for Warrnambool and for Gods will to be done here... Thanks in advance xoxox

Family Fun and more Beach Bliss...

I have more beach pics to share...we LOVE the beautiful beach so we spend a lot of time there. If we are not swimming in the water and jumping the waves, we are playing in and on the sand, or walking for hours along the sand and water. We also go and pray and sing to God at the beach...So my point is, if we can get to a beach we will, so there will be a whole lot of beach pics to share...I hope you don't get sick of photos of the sand, ocean, waves, sun, beach hair, sandy feet and general beach fun because we will have many, many pics of them to share :-)

We decided to go for a walk along the Warrnambool surf side beach and we took the kite with us....
Meet Bluey, The Girls Owl kite...
Up, Up and Away...
The Girls had a heap of fun flying the kite as we walked along the beach.
We walked and walked and decided to walk to the large rock formations at the end of the beach. I think it was Shane who suggested it. I quickly agreed, it didn't look too far. I thought it would only take us about 20 minutes to get there, HAHAHA, Yea right, I was wrong!
Beautiful scenes as we walked...
...and walked...
.....and walked!
Everyone was tired...our leg muscles were burning because we were walking in ankle deep sand the whole way. We had walked for over 1 hour in deep soft sand and everyone wanted to quit. Nooooooo! No way was I going to allow us to quit, we were so close. I went on a rant, Haha, I do that sometimes!....."We don't quit! The Rech Family doesn't quit. We are so close now, lets keep going." So we kept walking for nearly another 1/2 hour and look at the BEAUTY we found...
Look at the GORGEOUSNESS we found...
It was like a beautiful little island hidden behind huge cave-like rock formations and sand dunes. Beautiful, clean sand, beautiful rock caves, and then we turned around and we found a beautiful river, WOWSA!
Hopkins River...
The Gorgeous Logans Beach...
Pure Gorgeousness...
Each year when the river meets the ocean, the eels make their way from the river to the ocean. Clever little eels. I wonder how they know to do that!
Some interesting info about the eels...
Interesting info about Point Ritchie...
We spent quite some time at this gorgeous spot, taking in all its beauty. Everyone thought the walk was well worth the effort :-)
It was getting a bit late and we still had a 1 1/2 hour deep sand walk to do, starving children and sore leg muscles, so off we went again for our beautiful walk along the beach.

Elissa walked ahead with me...
Serena walked along with Shane...

We returned to our starting point feeling content and happy with our walk, tired but content and happy we didn't give up, and because we didn't give up we were rewarded with a gorgeous surprise little island. We had a rest in the soft sand, then walked the 1 minute walk home. We had some dinner, had our refreshing showers, got tucked into our cosy bed's, and listened to the waves crashing before we all feel soundly asleep! What a MARVELLOUS night :-)

Last night Shane and I were chatting while sitting on the sand watching the girls play in the sand...A thought came to me regarding the previous night's walk to our surprise island. If we gave up and didn't complete the walk, we would have missed out on the reward at the end. We had to endure...we were in pain, we were tired, it would have been so very easy to give up, however we didn't give up, we kept on going and because we kept on going, we were rewarded.
I think in life we sometimes give up too easily. We may be working hard to accomplish something, we may be on a difficult journey and things gets too hard, so we just give up, not realising that our reward is just around the corner. Don't give up!......Told you I like to rant sometimes, Hehe :-)

I Hope your all enjoying your weekend with your Loved ones!
Take Care,
Dimi xo

Church: South West Community Church...

On Sunday just gone, we were asked by the lovely Pastor at South West community church to join them for Sunday's service and listen to the guest speaker. So on Sunday we decided to drive the 1 hour to beautiful Portland and visit South West Community Church. The guest speaker shared his testimony and shared his plans to travel around Australia (specifically to Darwin) with his family and do missionary work. It was good to hear how God is working through many different people in our lovely country.
After church some of us headed to the Portland foreshore with the lovely Pastors. It was a beautiful day, we felt so very blessed by the church and by the Pastors. What an amazing church!
You should check out this Church if you live in, or visit beautiful Portland, Victoria.

During the service part of this word from the bible was shared...and I also woke the morning after with the same word. I thought I'd share it...

Galatians 6:9-10
So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone-especially to those in the family of faith.

Thank You God, I Love it!
