Travelling with Children...

I've been asked many times over how are the girls going and what is the travelling life like for kiddies? How are they coping with their new life? How are they coping without their school friends? How are they coping without their own bedrooms and living in a small space? How are they coping with the set up and pack up every week or so? How are they coping with being around each other 24 hours a day? How are they coping living on camp food? How are they coping?
Well.....Take a look at how our gorgeous girls are coping :-)

Our camp food is really good, Hahaha....We pretty much eat most things we ate when we lived in a house, yummy BBQ, stir fry, chicken and tuna salads, pasta and meatballs, meat and veg, roast meats, pancakes and lots of yummy goodness!

Our  girls love reading in their own quiet time.

Swimming and FUN in the SUN is always a favourite activity for the Girls.

The Girls are doing very well with our homeschooling schedule, they are actually thriving in it, and we are enjoying being their teachers.

Fishing is another activity they both enjoy doing.

The girls enjoy exploring the different areas we visit, we've checked out a maritime museum, a cheese factory, many beaches, enjoyed rock climbing, sight seeing, dolphin/seal/koala/kangaroo spotting, and we've also been on a few different tours.

Scooters and bikes are a big part of their week. We are so glad we brought  the bikes and scooters along on our trip.

Bonding time with us is also wonderful...Fishing fun with dad and watching the sunrise with Mum.

Open fires and toasting marshmallows is a favourite with the girls.

National parks are always great for learning and exploring.
Climbing trees is a fun activity too.

Setting up our site is always a team effort and the girls know exactly what to do and how to do it.

The girls enjoy some quiet time too.

There is always walks, walks and more walks...Beach walks, national parks walks, lots of walks.

The girls also love to do chores...cooking, dishes, washing and folding clothes, lots of chores.

They also enjoy walking through markets because chances are they get to by a small sweet treat.

I'm EXTREMELY proud of how our girls have handled themselves from the very beginning to now. They have handled every challenge that we've thrown at them very well, they truly amaze me. I would say that they haven't coped, instead they have thrived in this travelling life of ours, they truly have thrived. They have become far more social than they have ever been before, met so many people and children and made many friends along the way, there schooling has improved due to the one on one time, they love to explore and learn more about their environment and all the different areas we see and visit, they have become far more independent and enjoy trying lots of new things. We are more often out and about exploring national parks, beaches, parks, and if we are home for the day, our girls are almost always outside exploring our surroundings, playing games, cardboard box tobogganing, riding bikes and scooters, making friends, walking our doggy and many other fun things. Their life now is a huge adventure and they are embracing it and thriving in it and I am just sooooooo very proud of them.

If you are thinking of travelling long term with your children and you are concerned about how your kiddies will cope, don't worry yourself...they won't cope, they will THRIVE!

Booderee National Park...

We went to the BEAUTIFUL Booderee National Park yesterday...Check out our pics...
Green Patch in Booderee National Park, in Jervis Bay...
The Lagoon and bridge...
My Beauties...
The Beach...
We had a lovely day at the Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay! The sun was shining beautifully, we swam the day away, went for a few long walks, played in the sand and enjoyed lazing around in the sun. It was lovely for a change to have some calm water to swim and laze around in, rather than the surf beaches we've been spending a heap of time at (we do LOVE our surf beaches though).
We are glad we decided to go to this beautiful national park for the day, rather than going to Kiama beach for the day. We had gone to Kiama beach the week before and considered going again yesterday, but we are glad we didn't because on our way home from Booderee national park, we heard on the radio not 1 but 3 sharks were spotted at Kiama beach (2 Bull sharks, 1 Bronze Whaler) :-0 WOWSA, SCARY!
Well, I hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely day...It is a rainy day here in N.S.W today, so we are catching up on some stuff...trying to organize house sitting for us, cleaning out our Rumpus room (annexe), oh and the most important thing, we will be making some deliciously Yummy mars bar slice, YUMMO!

Have a Good one and Take Care,
Dimi xo

A Trip down Memory Lane...Our Journey so Far...

          December 2015...

          January 2016...

          February 2016...

           March 2016...

           April 2016...

This is us happily on this AMAZINGLY FABULOUS journey of ours. We have all individually grown and matured, we've become an even tighter and stronger family unit. Shane and I have grown even closer and stronger in our marriage, the girls bond with each other and us is even stronger than it was before. Our eyes have seen so much beauty in this beautiful country of ours, we have met so many wonderful, beautiful and generous people that we call friends. We have ministered to many people in the last 4 months, and our confidence in ourselves and trust in God is growing stronger. We are challenging ourselves to minister more, love more, and reach out more in many different ways.
Our walk with God is even more stronger now as we step out further and further in faith, trusting that as we do our bit, He will do HIS.
This journey of ours has stretched us, strengthened us, freed and healed us, renewed us, and given us an even stronger passion and fire in our bellies to keep pushing forward in ALL that God has for us in this lifetime. We know this is only the beginning for the RECH family, we have LOVED our journey so far, and we continue to hope, pray, step out and challenge ourselves to experience more, see more, do more, love more and grow more. We feel so blessed to be doing what we are doing...Thank You God for making ALL things possible, and for making all things work to good for us xoxoxox

Thank You for following our journey so far, if you pray, please continue to cover us in prayer in every way. Thank You Sooooooo VERY Much xoxox

Exploring Huskisson...

Huskisson is a beautiful area not far from Jervis Bay, N.S.W. After our day trip to Hyams Beach, we had a wander through this lovely town.

Beach Pool...
Beautiful Berry in N.S.W is surrounded by such VERY beautiful areas. These areas have really left a great impression on us all...I'm sure we will return again, and again in the future ;-)

I hope and pray everyone is well and enjoying the weekend. I hope the Victorians enjoyed the school holidays! It is now the start of the N.S.W holidays, so we are looking forward to having even more people/families around us.

Take Care,
Dimi xoxox
