I won't say I can't believe Serena is 10 already and that the years have gone so very quickly, in fact, it actually feels as though Serena has been 10 years old for years. Serena's tender heart, sense of humour, intelligence, kindness and maturity makes her seem older than what she actually is. 
I LOVE this girl, I LOVE having long, in depth conversations with this clever, witty, sweet girl..Serena is a sweet hearted girl and I love how much compassion she has in her heart, I think it's a gift from God!
I know, I know, I'm bragging about one of My Gorgeous Daughters again, however, It's a Mothers right I reckon and I'm reflecting on the person she is as we celebrate her 10th year of her life :-D

So on the 19th we celebrated our Serena's 10th birthday, and really Serena is a delight to spoil with Fun times, Love, Pressies and Butter Chicken (Serena's new favourite food since our Sydney stay ;-) ), Serena is so appreciative and loving, we just loved making the day special for her xo

After a yummy bacon and egg breakfast for Serena's birthday, Serena chose to go to Hartleys Crocodile Adventures and Jump Mania for a day and night of fall on FUN. Serena was so exhausted from her Birthday FUN (and Shane had a pretty bad injury, he is okay though), we came home for yummy cake, presents to open and decided to go out for her choice of dinner the next night...her choice of course is her new favourite food since being at Sydney and eating the delicious Butter Chicken the lovely ladies from House of Praise Church made...So we went to an Indian Restaurant for some delicious Indian food, YUMMO!
So a FUN celebration was had by all of us...Serena sure is a Princess to celebrate xo

The Travelling Bible in Cairns...

The Travelling Bible has now made it to Cairns, Queensland.
Here in Cairns we are surrounded by HEAPS of people. All the oldies that come up North have filled the free camps and caravan parks. We enjoy being surrounded by people, having a chat and getting to know those around us, it's an enjoyable part of our journey. 
In our conversations with people, we as often as we can chat about Church, which hopefully and often leads to chatting about our beliefs, and chatting about God. We don't force or push God onto people, we always use discernment, and if we pick up that people don't want to hear about Church, God and our Beliefs, we don't push it onto them, it is their choice whether they want to know more or not. 
However, it is a real blessing and it brings HEAPS of joy to us and warms our hearts when people receive what we have shared, show interest and ask questions about Church, God and Our Beliefs.
As we chat and minister to people, does everyone make a decision then and there to follow God and have a relationship with HIM, unfortunately nope...however, they have been introduced to HIM, they know they have a choice, they have heard about HIM, they have help, they know there is HOPE, there always is HOPE and that is our job, to plant seeds of Gods beautiful LOVE all over Australia, by telling them about Church, God and our beliefs and by showing them the Love of God by acts of kindness, and that is what we are doing. 
Do I wish, hope and pray EVERYONE we chat with would come to have a real and beautiful relationship with God, YES, YES I DO...however, I don't have control over that, I can SHOW them Gods Wonderful LOVE, TELL them about HIM, and hope their hearts are open to receive HIS LOVE, HIS Way of Life and build a life changing relationship with HIM, but I can't force them!
So as we chat and minster with people, as we display HIS LOVE to them in acts of kindness and Love, as we chat about Church and invite them to Church, as we share our beliefs, as we share with those around us, with those that know HIM, knew HIM and don't know HIM at all, we ask that you pray for us to speak with both LOVE and authority, pray that we stretch ourselves to step out more, with boldness and love. I ask that you pray for each and every area we visit, that peoples hearts will warm to us and to GOD and that HIS will, and HIS will alone will be done in us and through us, in HIS people and through them xo

A HUGE Thank You to EVERY single person who understands us and our journey, understands and sees our hearts, supports us in every way and in many different ways and is cheering us on and praying for us throughout our journey. YOU are SOOOOOOO VERY Much APPRECIATED, Sooooooo APPRECIATED and it means a lot to us that you support us and what we are doing and why we are doing it xox Thank You xox So please continue to pray for us, we really need your prayer and support xox

Hello Cairns...

Our new home is now Cairns. We've been greeted with around 26 degrees everyday and rain everyday, it has been a bit muggy, so we've spent nearly everyday, walking, exploring and swimming in the pool at both the caravan park and the lagoon pool in Cairns.

Check out our site...We are surrounded by beautiful, lush, tropical plants, national park and Lake placid. Lake placid is a lovely place to go for a walk, however, we must stay away from the waters edge because there has been a recent crocodile sighting, ARRGGHHHH!

We are having an extended stay here mainly due to Serena's birthday and a few different things we want to explore while we are here (more about that in a future post), our vehicle is getting a service, and we have a couple of people to catch up with before we leave Cairns, so we are going to have a very busy time here in Cairns!

Exploring Townsville...

We've had a few days to explore Townsville. Townsville is quite busy, it's a large town with so many shops, not what we like really, however, we always make the most of it and so we enjoyed some walks along the beach, and picnics on the beach, exploring the army fort, and splashing in the rock pool!
Townsville has a large rock pool right beside the beach which is very popular, and the beach water here is the warmest we've ever felt, don't know why!

Townsville Beach...the beach has stinger nets to keep stingers out of course...

The Strand is a very long street along the beach which has some cafes and restaurants along it, a delicious ice creamery, playgrounds, a water zone (under renovations at the moment), bike, walk path and at one end of it is the rock pool...Great place for a good walk, picnic, splash and play!
