Are You Afraid To Die?

I'm not!
The word of God says...
Image result for the cross
1 Corinthians 15:55-57

O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.  But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

 John 3:16,17
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Death HAS been defeated. As a believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, death has NO hold on me....
I LOVE It, WAAHHOOOOO!

Have a listen to this song and read these lyrics. I LOVE these lyrics...
Kari Jobe, Forever...

Kari Jobe (Forever)
The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon him

One final breath He gave
As Heaven looked away
The Son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting
Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated

Forever, He is glorified
Forever, He is lifted high
Forever, He is risen
He is alive
He is alive

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting
Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated

Forever, He is glorified
Forever, He is lifted high
Forever, He is risen
He is alive
He is alive
Forever, forever

You have overcome
Your resurrected King
You have overcome the grave
You have overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
We sing Hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

Forever, He is glorified
Forever, He is lifted high
Forever, He is risen
He is alive
He is alive (Forever)

Forever, He is glorified
Forever, He is lifted high
Forever, He is risen
He is alive
He is alive

Remember, Gods PERFECT LOVE cannot be overcome 💛💛💛

Our Update..Working In Cloncurry...

So its been about 6 weeks since we started our new job at the caravan park.
As I said in a previous post, not long after we got to Cloncurry, when we knew we'd be staying for a while, we had hoped we'd get the cleaning contract for the caravan park. Instead, Shane was offered 2 other jobs that he quickly took and it remained that way for a few months.
Then one day, within a week of us leaving Cloncurry to spend Christmas in the Townsville sun, we were quite casually asked if we wanted the cleaning contract. We were told if we wanted the job, it was ours. In fact, I actually worked for a few days before we even went to Townsville.

It's no coincidence that we prayed for work that we both could share the load, and we prayed for a rent free house that would come with that work, and that we'd still be able to homeschool our children and have plenty of time with them, exploring and ministry work...and it all worked out...WAHOOO!

The work is cleaning! Cleaning the amenities, camp kitchen, lounge, bbq areas, cleaning the cabins, folding linen and it sometimes includes some other grounds work. It can be hard work, it is physically exhausting at times, especially when we have an extra long day at work and also because we are usually working in late 30's to low 40 degrees heat, however, it fits into what we want right now, so we will continue in it for a while longer.
Last week we met the owner who unfortunately isn't an easy person to please or get on with ( the owner doesn't live in Cloncurry and comes and checks on his business throughout the year), however, we can handle ourselves quite well, we won't allow anyone to treat us harshly, we are good at respectfully sticking up for ourselves and we know we are doing a great job.
We know this job is for a season and then we'll be on the road again!

The house is a HUGE bonus, as is the other few perks we get with the cleaning contract, plus it gives us experience in this area for the future, which is always a bonus.
The girls enjoy helping us up to 3 days a week (for about 1 hour), which they get paid for and in turn they give a tithe and offering to God/Church, they also save a percentage and have some money left over for a treat every now and then.

So, so far, so good.
Hope everyone is well xo

Fun in the Cloncurry Sun...

Well it gets VERY HOT here in Cloncurry North, West Queensland.
So far we've experienced it to get up to the mid 40's, and for the 5 months we've been here as far as I can remember, it hasn't got lower than mid 30's.
It weather usually sits between 36 to 40 degrees everyday and it rarely ever cools down.
We get quite a few storms with the works here. We cop the thunder, lightning, wind, and when the rain hits us hard and it starts pouring, it usually makes the weather hotter and sticky. It gets very hot and muggy afterwards. So we try to keep cool...GOOD air conditioning is the key, and if you walk around Cloncurry you will here air conditioner units working 24 hours a day as you pass every home, haha.
We also like to keep cool having a dip in the pool.
We have a smallish pool at the caravan park (although it's been quite green and dirty for months), we also enjoy going to the large, very clean public pool for a dip. The girls tend to make some friends and we all hang out there for hours when we can!
I Hope everyone is well and enjoying the week xo

What is FAITH?

The Bible says:

Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Google says (another important reference, Haha):
Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

FAITH
How Do We Acquire Faith?
I believe we acquire faith by 1st accepting Jesus as our Saviour and 2nd (which to me is ultimately first because it is what HE died for in the first place) to have a relationship with HIM, through prayer, worship, reading the bible. I believe as you hear and read HIS word (the bible), as you build a relationship with HIM, your FAITH in God and the things HE has for you in this life will be revealed to you.
However, I believe FAITH slowly builds in a person as they continuously step out in FAITH. For example, in a difficult time do we become raving lunatics, and rant on about how difficult life is? do we throw huge pity parties for ourselves? or do we have FAITH, stand strong, and hope and know that God's LOVE and strength
will get us through our tough times?
YES, tough times are tough, we may cry, we are human, but do we TRUST God, do we have FAITH in God? not that HE will make everything perfect (although HE can) but that HE will walk with us through our difficulties, that HE will hold our hands and teach us a thing or two through our hardships. Do we have Faith in Him?
You know in our difficult moments, if we allow it, our FAITH in God strengthens. I know this to be true because I myself have experienced these difficult times, these hardships, when I thought all the walls were coming crashing down, I cried, I cried out to GOD, I told HIM of my pain, and the hurt in my heart...what do you think happened? Do you think HE waved HIS magical wand in the air and announced "PAIN BE GONE." No, it didn't happen that way, I cried out to HIM and HE reached out HIS hand and comforted me, like any GOOD FATHER would do. In the midst of a crisis, HE grabbed onto my hand and walked with me through it...WAHOOO...PRAISE GOD!
If I hadn't gone through these difficult times and trusted GOD to work all things to good for me, and to walk with me through them, I wouldn't have the FAITH in HIM I have now. Does that make sense?

Is my FAITH perfect? NO!
However, It is strong! I have a strong FAITH in God, my feet are planted and I KNOW that GOD will work all things to good for me and HIS will for me as I keep stepping out and walking in FAITH, because I believe HIM, I trust HIM and I have FAITH IN HIM!
Things won't be perfect though, because I live here on earth (I'm not in Heaven yet), but I have FAITH that HE walks with me, and HE is planning my steps as I continue to step out in Faith not at all knowing what lies ahead for me...What a GOOD, GOOD GOD I serve💜

To those that I have told about GOD and HIS GREAT LOVE, whether it be through this blog, or in person...You have a choice to believe in HIM and walk with HIM. It is completely your choice, I would never chase you down and try to force you to LOVE God (even though I would like to, Haha), however, you should give GOD a chance, HE LOVES YOU..I don't care how cliche that sounds, IT IS TRUE...Open your heart to GOD, OPEN IT, CRY OUT TO GOD. HE is waiting for you xo

Rant over, Haha! I only wanted to share a scripture on here, however, these words bubbled up and over, I hope it made sense to YOU!
I hope all is well in your world xo

Winner, Winner, Crayfish Dinner...

Well as you can see we have finally caught some redclaw crayfish, YIPEEE!

I think it's helped that the Cloncurry dam is very full. We've put our 2 crab pots in the dam and left them there for a day or 2 or 3, each time we've returned to check them we've had a few good redclaws and a couple small ones to throw back in.

we were using potatoes for bait, but we were told to try a tin of sardines, however, we didn't have any sardines, so we used one of our small tins of tuna and there you have it, the redclaw kept coming back for more of it :-)

Winner, Winner, Crayfish Dinner..or entree, Hahaha!

We have a BIG one...

Serena doesn't mind showing off our catch and Zoey's a little too interested, Haha!

Seriously DELICIOUS...

Redclaw crayfish is absolutely DELICIOUS, it's sweet and juicy and simply YUMMY. I look forward to catching a bucket full of them and filling our tummies up eating them all up 😋

I Hope all is Well with Everyone
Take Care 💛

Calvary Christian Church...

Oh I nearly forgot to post about this AMAZING church in Townsville.
We went to Calvary Christian Church when we where in Townsville over Christmas. We went to their Christmas eve service and it truly was a brilliant service, one of, if not the BEST Christmas eve service we've ever been to. The worship time was BEAUTIFUL, the message was Amazing and we all (including our girls) wished for more than a moment we were part of this church, haha! It was a lovely night and our girls got right into the whole service, especially the worship time and the funny, creative Christmas footage we watched.

After the service there was a Christmas eve party with a petting zoo, jumping castle, fairy floss, snow cones, sausage sizzle and delicious donuts.
YUM!
Cute little Guinea pigs...

Calvary Christian church in Townsville, Queensland looks and seems to be a wonderful church...You should check it out if you're ever in the area..We will!
