Merry Christmas And Happy New Year (2017/2018)...

We hope you all had a Merry CHRISTMAS and we hope you all have a GREAT New Year xo
We had a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas day. We have a tradition of checking out some of the best Christmas lights on Christmas eve often after a Christmas eve church service and so that's what we did. First we went to Kingdom city Church an what a great evening we had. Church was fantastic, worship time with Kingdom City Church was FANTASTIC and the message was GREAT...after we had some dinner and we then went and checked out the beautiful Christmas lights all over different parts of Perth.
Check them out...
It was great being out amongst the community checking out the Christmas lights...
Kingdom City Church...
And then it was Christmas morning...

I LOVE watching the Joy in my families faces, Love it!
Gorgeous Girls...

Delicious Lunch and Dessert. The girls also made a FANTASTICALLY Delicious Mars Bar slice (their own version) and a Christmassy one (also their own version) with some extra tasty ingredients in it...It was so good Shane and I have requested them to make it again next year, Yum!
The SPUNK!
And of course we went to the beach on Christmas day after our lunch. Cottosloe beach is one of our many WA favourites and about a 40 minute drive from us, so we went, we relaxed, ate chewy German gingerbread biscuits, yummy cherries and refreshed ourselves in the clear, cool water. The beach was packed with others who had the same idea, it was BLISS!
Sandy Feet..Love it!
Another tradition of ours is making a cake to celebrate Jesus on Christmas day and to share with each other what we are grateful to HIM for over the last year, and what we look forward to the next year. So we did this! We also film it, it's great looking back at when the girls were only toddlers, sharing what they are grateful for and reflecting on why we celebrate Christmas...because OUR SAVIOUR was born so that HE would reunite us with God the Father, because HE LOVES US and wants a relationship with us, it's simple really.
So the presents we receive and give a GREAT, the family time is GREAT, the food is oh so GREAT but we like to always remember why to us Christians this day exists...It exists so we can celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ.

We had a FANTASTIC Christmas one of the best we've had. I hope you all had a FANTASTIC Christmas also, and I hope you have a WONDERFUL, Safe and Blessed New Year.

Take Care,
Love The Rech Family xoxox

And Then That Happened...

As we were enjoying our time exploring Perth, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and everything in between, Shane found some work at the local Woolworths in Bunbury. Even before Shane could start working at Woolworths he randomly applied for another job, a job he wants when we finally settle from this Faith Led Journey of ours...well before he knew it he applied one day, got a phone call that same day, and an interview the very next day and right now his been working there for about 2 weeks (Shane started on 10th December).
Shane is now the store manager at the Midland Snooze Bedding store, WOOHOO, so proud of this Guy...I LOVE Him!

So we've moved from Bunbury, W.A where we spent a few weeks and made a quite a few friends back to Perth, W.A (well just outside of Perth). Do you believe that! Yep our journey has had so many twists and turns, we can't even believe it.
So about 9 weeks after leaving Cloncurry, North West Queensland, right now I am sitting in my very own bedroom with my caravan mattress on the floor, with a door and an en suite and a shower where for the first time in 2 years I don't need to wear thongs in the shower. We have now parked our caravan in the driveway of a small unit that we have signed a 13 month lease for...I can't believe it, we are Western Australians, WAHOOOOO, SOOOOO EXCITING!

I'll share more about this in the new year!
For now life is different, a different type of adventure for us. We have been meeting different people, enjoyed a great church in the area (Kingdom City), we have been blessed by numerous people in our move back to Perth (we still don't have a working vehicle) and with furnishing our new home...we are sooo blessed beyond measure...Thank You God xo

So we arrived to a caravan park close by to Shane's new job on 5th of December and stayed until 9th of December until we moved in to our new home...We enjoyed our last caravan park for a while...and Shane also started work!

Checked out some Christmas lights...
Last shower in thongs for a while, YAY, Haha (I'm kind of used to wearing them in the shower though, Haha)
Us with the Travelling Bible..Goodbye to the van park and sleeping in our van...We are looking forward to a bit more space and privacy and many more things that come with living in a home, even a small one!
And this is our little Home for now (which is big for us coming from living in a caravan)...
Our lounge room...
Our kitchen, WOW, look at all that space...
The Girls are enjoying there own bedrooms...
Lord, Bless our home with LOVE and LAUGHTER...

Thank You to everyone who has been praying for us xo I hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas and New Years Eve celebrations xo
Life is GREAT xo
Love,
Dimi
