1 More Night...

Yep, only one more night left at.....

and later on tonight this beautiful fur girl moves into her foster families house while we are away.....
We are feeling Very Excited, Sad, Joyful, Nervous, Anxious, so basically a lot of mixed emotions. There will be tears when we leave our home and our Zoey and our beautiful community, but also plenty of Joy for what lies ahead. Joy and Happiness for quality family time, beach fun, traveling around this BEAUTIFUL country and relaxation time. There will be a HUGE amount of Joy and Happiness in being led by God.

This verse comes to mind, Part of Psalms 30:5
...Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Love it, Thank You God :-)
So we will enjoy our last night here as much as we can, we will cry and hug each other and also joyfully anticipate the road ahead. It is a new chapter in our lives and it is sooooo very exciting to leave it to God to write.

Love this Spunky Man.....
Love these Beautiful Girls.....
I'm so glad I'm blessed to enjoy this life with these EXTREMELY SPECIAL People. I'm SOOOOO VERY Blessed!

Enjoy your day and Take care,
Dimi :-)

You Guessed it...and Some Thoughts...

Only 3 sleeps to go! I'm sure I'm boring everyone with our count down but It's important to me to document it.....It won't go on forever!

Shane and I have been in an exhausted state all week. We thought we didn't have much to do, but we still had sooooo very much to do.
Today was the final inspection for the new home owners, so we worked hard to clean our house and pack it up by today. The final inspection went well and we are happy about that.

So far, our beautiful Girls have been coping well with living in our empty house, having crazy parents running around cleaning and organising like headless chooks, and having a lack of food in the house (haven't done a proper grocery shop in a while because we've been so busy). The girls are coping well with the many changes they are facing, and I'm VERY proud of them.
We are all looking forward to the fun times ahead :-)

On a side note...
We woke up in the early hours of this morning to this sight...The house across the road was up in complete flames....

Thank God the house was empty and no one was hurt. It was a very scary experience to watch a house burn down, especially one so close to our house. I'm so very glad that no one was hurt, that would have been extremely terrible.

After a VERY long night of watching a home burn down and comforting scared children, it had me thinking...Life is sooooo, SOOOOO very precious and short. I believe at times we place to much value on the material things we have. These things can be gone in a blink of an eye, or like this morning, in a very scary fire!
It made me think...Yes, material things are helpful and some can be seen as even essential, but how important are they really? How much do we value them over other things? What is really important? People are important to me, my family and God are important to me. I appreciate many material things, however I hope in time material things become less and less important to me!
I'm so glad no one was hurt and I'm so glad my wonderful neighbours were not hurt.

Just wanted to share my thoughts...
Good night and Take care,
Dimi xo

4 Sleeps....and Our Empty House...

Yes, only 4 short sleeps and we are out of this house and into our new home, our caravan!
This house is looking sooooo very empty! It doesn't look or feel like home anymore. It's just an empty house that's waiting for another family to fill it with their belongings and their new memories....

Empty Lounge room...
Empty dining area...We are using our camp dining setting for now....
Empty hallway...
God tells me- "What lies ahead, is far better than what you leave behind."
I wholeheartedly believe Him.

Enjoy your Day and Take Care,

Only 5 Sleeps....and Our Spring Cleaned Caravan....

Yep, just 5 sleeps to go and we are still packing, sorting, cleaning and storing!

I did a final spring clean in our new home (our caravan). I cleaned out everything, aired out everything, vacuumed, mopped, wiped everything down and even used a whole bottle of mortein surface spray on the inside and the outside of the caravan, that better keep the creepy crawlies away, Haha!
I used this entire bottle on the caravan...Please God make it work...

After giving our caravan a very good clean, I realised I have spring cleaned it 3 times since its been sitting in our driveway! Do you know how long its been sitting in our driveway? Shane remeinded me, we've only had it for about 4 weeks :-0 What a shocker, Hahaha. Yep, I'm a bit of a clean freak!

Oh well, it looks homely and cosy I think. I wanted to make it feel like home as much as I could. I even decorated a little.

Check it out...

We will see if these come home in one piece...

So no more spring cleaning until we are on the road and our caravan actually need's it :-)
Back to cleaning I go, not the caravan, just the house!

Take care and Have a good night!

Only 7 Sleeps...

...and we have SOOOOOOO much to do!
I guess that's what happens when you move out of a house and into a caravan, Haha!
I'm not even going to share our very large to do list. It will scare you :-0
I'll just say, we have wayyy to much to do, but we are trying to focus on the good times ahead :-) The packing, storing, sorting and cleaning will all be over soon and then we can enjoy beach hopping, ice cream eating, church hopping, meeting new people, family time and all the fun things our journey is going to bring. I'm looking forward to it all!
Okay, I need to get back to work now. Break time is over!

Keep Smiling and Take Care,
Dimi xo
