Goodbye Lakes Entrance..Goodbye Victoria...

Well its now time to say goodbye to Lakes Entrance and a sad goodbye to Victoria, WOWSA!
After 84 nights slowly travelling parts of Victoria, it is now time to say a sad goodbye to Victoria :-( It is a little sad to be leaving BEAUTIFUL Victoria, but it is also VERY exciting to be entering a new state today, WOW!

So goodbye Lakes Entrance, we have had a GREAT stay. Goodbye to Koonwarra Holiday Park we have had a GREAT stay here (this park is very well priced for families with kiddies and the cheapest we've stayed at this far, even cheaper than some paid national parks. The managers are very helpful and friendly, and although the park and facilities are very old, they are clean and well kept. Great low price and friendly, helpful staff, and clean facilities are the most important to us, big sites are a GREAT bonus for us too). Lakes Entrance has been GREAT! We visited a GREAT Church here, we have explored many great beaches and Lakes, eaten delicious ice cream and  most of all we've been able to minister to people here in the park and share some resources with some people here also, so that is the icing on the cake, WOOHOO :-)

Some of our Lakes Entrance pics...

Goodbye Lakes Entrance and Goodbye Victoria, we had a BRILLIANT time :-)

Take care,

Fishing Fun...

We took our girls fishing for the very first time on the Myer st jetty at Lakes Entrance the other night, and to another fishing spot last night. It was a heap of fun, the girls enjoyed it and Shane enjoyed teaching our daughters how to fish. We didn't catch any fish, but that won't stop us, we will be spending more time fishing in the future at many of the fishing spots we will come across on our journey.
I've just recently become very interested in prawning. Apparently all you do is hop into the water, light up an area of the water with a torch, and scoop up the prawns that are attracted to the light...easy as that! Well, I'm going to try and teach myself to prawn, and then hopefully I'll be able to feed my family a feast of prawns, Hahaha! I may even check out a prawning you tube video for some tips..if anyone has any tips for me, please share  :-)
Myer Street Jetty...

We look forward to much more fishing in the near future :-)

Red Bluff Surfing Beach...

Oh we love the Red Bluff Surfing Beach. We spent hours exploring it. The water, the sand, the rocks, the shells are all so beautiful. We climbed the rocks and cliff, checked out the large and beautiful shells, spotted a heap of crabs and had a ball exploring for hours...this is our type of FUN!

As you can probably tell from the photos Red Bluff Surfing Beach is an absolutely Gorgeous spot, and we had a heap of FUN exploring it :-)

Take Care and Goodnight,
Dimi xo
