What does Good Friday mean to You?

What Good Friday means to me...Well today is a day we remember and reflect on what Jesus Christ had to endure for our sake, and why HE endured persecution and suffered death on the cross.

Why did Jesus Christ endure persecution and death on the cross for us?
The punishment for sin is death, and every person on earth has a sin nature, this sin separates us from God and makes us disobey HIM.
Jesus endured and died on the cross to wash us all clean from our sins, so that through the blood of Jesus Christ we are washed clean from our sins and reunited with God the Father.

Here is what Dennis Prince says in his resource...Awakening...
"In brief, salvation is like this...
God LOVES us and wants the best for us. He created us - we are His children. But there is a problem. We are sinful. God, who is holy and just, must punish us for our sins. That punishment is banishment - from Himself and from heaven - forever. But because of His LOVE, God forged a plan to rescue us. He asked His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for us, by dying on a cross.
This is "salvation", and receiving it is the most wonderful thing that can happen to anyone, EVER."

So...God LOVES us SOOOOOOO much, He sent HIS Son Jesus Christ to take our place, and take the punishment for our sin.

Why? Why did God send HIS son to take our place? Simply because HE LOVES YOU AND I. God provided away, when there was no other way because HE LOVES YOU xoxox
LOVE, it's ALL about LOVE. It is ALL about LOVE, LOVE, LOVE xoxox

So to me, Good Friday represents Gods Love for me and for all mankind xoxox
So at the end of the day, please remember..God sent Jesus to die for YOU because He LOVES YOU xo

The Travelling Bible in Kioloa...

The Travelling Bible has made it to Kioloa, and Batemans Bay (about 35-45 minutes from Kioloa)...WAAHOOO...

I was sitting here this morning reading my bible, enjoying my homemade AMAZINGLY Yummy latte and thinking about what occurred the other day with Alfio.
God spoke to my heart as i chatted to Alfio as I thought about whether he was going to accept God into his heart and life or not...I felt God say, you are doing this for me. Whether or not he accepts me or not is his decision, but you are doing this for me (ministering to people)...these words melted my heart. God is SOOOOOOOO GOOD all the time! All God expected me to do was try, try and reach out, take a step, step out in faith...HE will do the rest! God only expects us to try, that is it...Just TRY and reach out, try your best!

Please continue to PRAY for N.S.W, for Kioloa, Batemans Bay and the surrounding areas. God is moving in these areas, He is moving in us and on this journey. Pray HIS will alone be done here in Kiola, Batemans Bay and the surrounding areas....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH xoxoxoxoxox

Tears and Joy...

What do you do when you make an unexpected stop in a town about 40 minutes from the town you are staying at for a quick toilet stop and bite to eat, a stretch because you have been travelling for nearly 3 hours, and everyone needs a quick break from being in the car, and then you very quickly realise, your unexpected stop was somehow planned by our ALMIGHTY God?

You've stopped and jumped out of the car, everyone freshens up, including your doggy. You head to the bakery for a pie or sausage roll, you realise it doesn't accept eftpos, your husband runs across the road and on his way back nearly bumps into an old man, he apologies and heads back to the bakery so we can sit together and eat our hot and yummy pastries.

Before you enjoy your hot pastries, your husband needs to go in the store with your children and pay for them and collect them. You sit at an outside table, an old man sits at the table next to you. Immediately you feel there is something about this man...You don't know what that something is...YET!

You kind of feel uneasy, you know you need to say HELLO like you often do, but you hesitate for some reason. Your husband joins you with your children and you settle to eat your late lunch quickly, however you still feel uneasy. You nudge your "have-a-chat" husband, and ask him to say HELLO...He says he already has, however he knew, your darling husband knew something was going on so he started a conversation with this dear old man.

Just as your husband started up a convo, your bravery (more like the HOLY SPIRIT) kicks in, you know, you know something needs to be said to this man. You listen and look into his dear eyes, you can tell and you know something isn't right. As he talks, you hear him say he doesn't have long to live, maybe days, he tells you he is dieing, he has cancer.....Your heart becomes heavy and aches, tears swell into your eyes, you compose yourself and know what to say and do (well sort of)  you very quickly ask him, Are there any churches around here? Do you go to Church? He responds, yes their are churches and no I don't go to Church. That's it, you're in, you have a foot in the door.

Your husband takes over and talks to him about God, you pray, you pray in a language only God understands, you keep praying.

This man is hurt, this man hates priests, this man has regrets, this man has just shared he has just had the worst day of his life and feels he is going to die soon (within days). This man has had enough....but there is HOPE .......this man had an encounter with God many years ago and he himself said, "I should believe in God because of this encounter, but I don't."

You keep listening to this dear old man talk...his story is sad, you feel those tears rise into your eyes, you wipe them away and you keep listening. This old man pours his heart out to you. You can hear his regrets before he even tells you he has many of them...you pray and listen.

You know what you need to say to him, you chat along with him, you and your husband talk with him about GOD...he is so put off by priests, he wants to believe but finds it difficult to believe. This dear old man blames God for a lot of things...slowly you feel his heart soften, you speak the words that are placed on your heart to share with him... you say, "No one is perfect, we've all made mistakes, however, if you chose to cry out to God, He will not ignore you, He will hear your cry."
You know he needed to hear this, you believe with every part of you he will hand his life over to God, possibly that night...you did your bit and you know God will do the rest.
You say goodbye and he leaves, you decide to leave something for him at the bakery  (he is a regular visitor there). Your heart is full of LOVE for him and for God, your eyes are weeping with tears because of what has just occurred. What a privilege to be used by God in such a way..You feel humbled, you have JOY in your heart, You know without a doubt your unexpected stop was planned by GOD. That old man was the old man your husband bumped into, as soon as he did, he knew God had planned that exact encounter with this dear old man, on this forever memorable day...
Myself, Shane, Elissa and Serena will FOREVER remember Batemans Bay N.S.W for this very reason. We feel EXTREMELY privileged to have spent time with Alfio...I Hope and Pray I am able to give Alfio a HUGE hug in Heaven one day xoxox

I just want to add, we have ministered to quite a lot of people as we have travelled through Victoria and now N.S.W, however, for some reason Alfio has really touched my heart like none other..It may be because I've looked into the eyes of a dieing man as we ministered to him, it could be God's heavy presence upon us as we ministered to him...One thing I know in my heart is, I would have sold everything and travelled Australia for just one man...for Alfie xo

I do not ever mean to brag of what we are doing, I only wish to share and encourage others. God is moving in our life, God is using us, however, we are NO different to you, God can move in your life and use you for HIS plan...Step out and take the plunge, it is worth it..HE IS WORTH IT xoxoxox

Thank YOU GOD...for allowing Shane, Myself and our BEAUTIFUL Girls to be a part of your WONDERFUL plans for Australia, we feel blessed and privileged...We ADORE You GOD and it goes without saying, all the GLORY is YOURS, now and forever xoxox

If you are praying for us, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO VERY MUCH...We believe GOD hears your prayers and ours xoxoxox

Love from Dimi xoxox

Hello Kioloa...

On the Road Again...
Getting Closer...
We Made it to Merry Beach Caravan Park...

Well HELLO to Beautiful Kioloa. We made it here late in the day, later than expected but for good reason (more about that in a later post).

It took us much longer to set up our site because we are set up on a bit of a slope, and we also had to fill our water tank with water from one of two drinking taps, rather than connect our hose (bore water is heavily relied upon here at this caravan park).

We are here at Kioloa for Easter, we are hoping to find a GREAT church here and join them for their Easter service. Back in Sunbury Victoria, Encounter Church have a MARVELLOUS Good Friday service with many Churches in Sunbury coming together for the Good Friday Service, so we have high expectations :-)

Anyway, Kioloa is Beautiful and so far has been the best place to see MANY Kangaroos, oh and rabbits. They are all over the park we are staying in, also along the national park, and peoples front yards, they are in abundance here, just beautiful (and a little scary for me, haha).

I LOVE the ocean, and I have been blessed to able able to sleep close enough to it on this journey that I can hear the waves all night long (that is a dream come true for me), this place is no different, we get to hear the waves all night long and also see the waves and ocean from our site, what a BLESSING! I think this site is the closest we have ever set up to the beach, STUNNING, STUNNING, STUNNING...WOOHOOOOOO :-)

This is our set up here at Kioloa N.S.W...

We are looking forward to spending more time around Kioloa and Batemans Bay and the surrounding are :-)

Take Care,
Love Dimi xo

Goodbye Eden...

Such BEAUTY...
Stunning Disaster Bay...
Its time to say Goodbye to Beautiful Eden. We have really enjoyed our time here. We've enjoyed all sorts of fishing fun, swimming in the beach, exploring the National park and Navy wharf and we have really enjoyed meeting quite a few families here in Eden, in particular two other travelling families...what a BLESSING!

It did sadden us we couldn't find a Christian church to join with on Sunday, however we had church in our caravan. The Pastor was GREAT, he preached to a congregation of 3 people and 1 dog and the worship was AWESOME...The church was called...Faith Journey...What a great Church...Hahahaha ;-)

Take a look at our Beautiful Eden photos...

This is Us...I Just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us so far, we appreciate your Love, Support and Prayers. Please keep praying for us, for our journey, for those we meet each and everyday...may they come to know GOD as their Lord and Saviour xoxox
It has been GREAT to spend quite a lot of time in Eden. It really has been GREAT to have dinner with some travelling friends and catch up with some travelling families. It has been Great to be able to minister to people and share resources with people...Goodbye Eden..Thank You for being our first Beautiful NSW destination!

Again, A HUGE Thank You to Everyone who prays for us, it is MUCH appreciated.
If you pray, please pray for our journey in NSW, we are challenging ourselves even more (we are constantly challenging ourselves to step out even more in ministering to people). We believe our outreach efforts will be even more effective in NSW, please pray along with us for this.
Please pray with us for each and every area and state we visit in Australia. We feel it heavy on our hearts to bring God and HIS LOVE to those we encounter as we travel this beautiful country. Australia needs us, Australia needs ALL of us! Australia needs both our prayers and us to act. We need to get out of our comfort zones, challenge ourselves and go and tell people about GOD and HIS BEAUTIFUL LOVE!
So please join us in prayer, and in telling those around you about God and HIS GREAT LOVE!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You xoxoxoxox

Goodnight,
Dimi xo

Hooked On Fishing...

Yep, we are hooked on fishing, Hahaha! We went out fishing again and again and again. We are loving it. My beautiful Aunt Margaret very often took myself, my sister, and my cousins out fishing on school holidays at Rye pier (in Victoria) and on a fishing boat, we often caught a heap of flathead, we had a heap of fun. Well, I haven't (as far as I can remember) picked up a rod since I was about 10 years old (something like that), however, ever since we started fishing in Lakes Entrance, I'm HOOKED, Hooked Line and Sinkered, Hahaha (yep, I'm cracking myself up, Hahah)! So we are all LOVING fishing, we are catching quite a bit of fish now, although quite a few of them need to be thrown back into the sea because they have been too small, but that hasn't stopped us. We've all found another hobby we really ENJOY doing, YAY...I've even woken up hanging to go fishing!
Check out our fishing photos...

We've had a ball fishing in Eden. We've caught Trevalley, Snapper and Yellow fin king fish! It has been great and we all look forward to regularly fishing as we travel around Australia.

I Hope Everyone is well...Take Care,
Dimi xoxox
