2 Parks in 3 Days...

We love our Picnics/B.B.Q, add a lovely location, beautiful view and yummy food, Awesome, throw in a good park, especially with a GREAT playground and your in for a FUN day :-D
We spent the last few days enjoying 2 different parks. This first one in Mount Annan (about a 10 minute drive from Camden) only opened on Saturday, we went and enjoyed it on Sunday and Monday. It is brand new, and a whole lot of fun. It was VERY busy when we went obviously because it's a new park, but it was great to be around a heap of kids and families. Everyone was out enjoying the playground, walking their dogs, eating lunch and just having a chat!

Forever..Kari Jobe...

Loving this song and the beautiful lyrics.  It is an oldie but it is a goodie :-D
I LOVE singing this at the top of my lungs for all the caravan park to hear, Hahaha, out of tune mind you, Hahaha!
I love it and wanted to share it with everyone on here...

Kari Jobe - Forever lyrics
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mv4LRl2KI2M

The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Saviour of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon him

One final breath he gave
As heaven looked away
The son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
his perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
Has rendered you defeated

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
his perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
Has rendered you defeated

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

You have overcome
You have overcome
You have overcome
You have overcome

I absolutely adore singing this song...how about you shake the earth and sing and dance along with me :-D

Wollongong Shopping Centre...

We went to the Wollongong shops before the beach to buy some food for our lunch and we stumbled upon this...
It may be normal for this area but we have never seen this before and we thought it was pretty cool. In the middle of the walking area in a few different places of the shopping center there was a heap of different activities for older kids to explore free of charge. Including everything you see in the photos, there was also table tennis, a huge games/t.v screen, couch/bean bag area and a few other fun games. The girls thought it was so cool! I would love to have this in a church building for all the young people one day :-)

I Hope Everyone is well and enjoying this beautiful day xo
Have a Great one,
Dimi xo

Homeshcooling Update...

Our homeschooling is going really well. It has been 5 months since we started home schooling and we are all still going strong.

We have revisited a lot of the Christian studies the girls have already learned in the past, and we will continue to teach them a whole lot more meatier Christian studies throughout the year.
Shane teachers the girls most of their maths and I teach pretty much everything else.

So usually we do somewhere between 10 and 15 hours of study each week over 3 days. Within these 3 days we do maths (using the Christian Beka books), we write and repeat our timetables, we do at least 10 spelling words each day and sentences, alphabetical order etc. In this time we also do different projects which the girls gather information for, write about, draw pictures and present the project. We also do Christian studies using mainly the C.R.E books we've purchased, and we do book reviews.

Outside of these hours we have computer time (Elissa is writing a story, both girls enjoy cool maths 4 kids, sending emails to friends), the girls enjoy drawing, art and craft, we go on excursions, learn about the areas we are travelling in and to, we have swimming lessons, we do quite a lot of physical activity, journal writing and letter writing and lots of reading. We actually visit the library at least once or twice a week (the girls LOVE reading), and I set a reading challenge just the other week...the girls had 1 week to read as many books as they wanted to (all being novels) and they would get $1 for each novel they read and the last day they got a bonus round of 20 cents per chapter for one hour :-) Now because they Love reading, I didn't really have to set this challenge, however I wanted to reward them for such a healthy habit they have :-) Well this challenge ended up costing me about $35 between both the girls, WOWSA! The girls read about 33 novels between them in 1 week, I'm still blown away by this, they are such Huge Champions!

Our homeschooling is going really well. I'm so impressed with how well our girls are doing, they truly amaze me. The girls enjoy most of our home schooling most of the time, at times it can be hard work for them but they push through and we all work together to get the job done.
I'm one proud Mama :-D

I Hope Everyone has a GREAT weekend!
Love Dimi xo

House of Praise Youth Group...

So myself, Shane and the Girls have been hanging out with the House of Praise youth group the last few weeks, and Shane and myself have had the awesome privilege of leading this group while we have been here.
Last week some of us went bowling, we had a heap of Fun...check out the pic of some of us girls...
We have been blessed by these guys, by the church and also by the Pastors at House of Praise Church. Pastors Kaine and Simone have just opened the door of ministry to us, and opened their home to us many times over the last 5 weeks, they have been a huge blessing to us and an answer to prayer.
While we are still here in Sydney we hope to also be a blessing to House of Praise as we continue to hang out with the youth and be part of this great church with great Pastors.

You know travelling around, we only dreamed (and Prayed) we would have such an amazing opportunity to serve in a church under such wonderful leaders, so we Thank GOD for them and we Thank Kaine and Simone for trusting us with the youth, and being such a blessing to us while we have been here in Sydney xo Thank You xo
Take Care and Have a Good one,
Dimi xo
