Hartley's Crocodile Adventures...

Hartley's Crocodile Adventures...
We went to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures for part of Serena's 10th Birthday celebration and we all learnt a heap of information about crocodiles which was great.
I may not be the hugest fan of zoos for various reasons, however, it was a very informative day and we did get to safely see many crocodiles, so it really was a good day out!
We all enjoyed learning about Crocodiles...
It was a good experience riding on this boat surrounded by crocodiles and learning all about them...
We even got to see some Cassowary birds, apparently not so often seen in the wild...
Look at the face of this Beautiful Owl...
We seen quite a few different animals at Hartley's Croc Adventures and most of them we've seen many times in the wild (which is where we prefer to see them), however, the main reason we checked it out is to see the crocodiles (also the Cassowary bird) safely and learn about them from people who have good knowledge of crocs. We learnt a lot about crocodiles which was great, we learned about what and how often they eat, how long they live, the differences between fresh and salt water crocs, our safety around crocs and water ways and much more, so for these reasons it was well worth the visit I think!
Hoping everyone is well and remember...NEVER smile at a Crocodile, Hahaha...if you are close enough to look into its eyes and smile, you're too close...RUNNNN, Hahaha...I know, I'm not that funny am I!
Have a GOOD One xoxox

OH I'm LOVING You...

..GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL Port Douglas Beach :-D

Well apparently Port Douglas is a very popular destination for honeymooners, backpackers and holiday makers and I can see why!

It's ALL about the beach and this is one of my top 10 beaches for sure.
The water is sooooo warm (and this is in winter), soooo crystal clear, the mountain views are soooo stunning, the sand is fine and clean and Palm trees line the beach. You can also hire blue and white lounges and umbrellas which I think makes the beach have a European look which I LOVE!
You can also hire other water sports equipment ( floaters, sand equipment, canoes, surf boards, paddle boards), and buy ice cream as the man rides around on his buggy freezer, I LOVE It!

A very common occurrence on the East Coast of Australia are these beautiful beaches with there hip beach side towns. These cool shops, restaurants, and cafes are often across from the beach or nearby the beach, usually within walking distance from the beach for people to make the most of them and enjoy them if that's your thing. Me, I prefer to pack delicious snacks/lunch and spend the whole day by the beach, maybe go for a walk along the shops and buy an ice cream, but mainly spend the day swimming, soaking in the view and sunshine and Looooooong walks along the beach, Oh such BLISS!
Finally, check out our pics...
On the way to Port Douglas is the popular Rex Lookout...
Many Palm Trees line the roads on the way to Port Douglas, just Beautiful...
Beautiful Blue Sky, Clear Water, Sunshine, Clean and fine Sand and Family Fun, WOOHOOOO!
