Just Beautiful!
It was a hot night, so thankfully our generator worked well and we were able to use our air conditioner. The drop toilets were quite stinky because there was damage to the water tank and they couldn't be flushed, however, they were still usable. We enjoyed a lovely sunset and a peaceful and relaxing night!

Hello Katherine, Northern Territory...

On Tuesday 17th October after a couple hours driving from Litchfield, we arrived at Katherine for the second time on this journey. On our way to darwin we drove through Katherine and stopped for a lunch break and to refuel and buy some groceries, and this time we stopped for 2 nights.
We first explored Edith Falls....
We then set up our site and made our way down to the Katherine Hot Springs...
The Travelling Bible made it to Katherine, Northern Territory and the lovely Katherine Hot Springs...
The hot springs were actually warm and refreshing springs. They were refreshing to soak in and the water was beautiful and clear. It was just beautiful and what we needed on a very hot Northern Territory day!

Just LOVELY!

We spent 2 relaxing nights at Katherine enjoying some relaxing and refreshing soaks in the hot springs and enjoying some dips in the pool at the van park we stayed at for 2 nights, it was both relaxing and refreshing!
The town in Katherine is similar to quite a few of the outback towns up North, although it is a bigger town then most. Their is a big police presence here, it takes a bit of getting used to and when the liquor stores open in the afternoon the police actually guard each and every liquor store, it's quite sad but that is how it is here, their is a lot of alcohol abuse here unfortunately.

We ask that you pray with us for each and every area we visit..Prayer is powerful...showing Gods LOVE is powerful...offering a helping hand to those who need one is powerful xo

I hope all is good with everyone.
Love, Dimi xo
