Thank You

The other morning Myself, Shane and Our girls were out the front of our house, we were specifically sitting in the caravan having our morning cuppa and having a chat about our journey. As we chatted, one of our friends/neighbours ( they live a few blocks away ) drove over to have a look at our caravan, have a chat and encourage us.
Just as they were about to leave, another one of our Beautiful neighbours that live behind our home, came over just to ask Shane how to spell my name because she is sad to see us go, and she wants to write us a card.
Just as this lovely lady was leaving, our neighbour from across the road came over and had a look in our caravan, have a chat and also encouraged us.
Later that day, another VERY special lady came over, had a chat with me and had a look through our caravan and she also encouraged us ( More about this special lady in a later post ).
We have been invited to so many BBQs/Dinners because it seems people just want to support and bless us.......We feel so BLESSED by our community!
On so many other occasions, we have found our community to be our BIGGEST support :-)

I was Soooooooooo overwhelmed with our Neighbours/Community support and encouragement, I just bawled my eyes out ( Yep, I'm an emotional person ).
It hit me hard that we are leaving this special community behind.
Myself and Shane LOVE this community, we have a HUGE place in our hearts for Sunbury and the people of Sunbury. We LOVE being part of these peoples lives, even if its on a small scale.
I will miss these people! Our neighbours, the girls school friends, the whole school community, our local shop assistants, we will miss them all.
I didn't realise how much they meant to me.

Thank You to EVERYONE who makes Sunbury such a warm community to live in.
Thank you to EVERYONE who is supporting " Our Faith Led Journey," You are HUGELY APPRECIATED...All your support means the ABSOLUTE world to us, THANK YOU Sooooooo Much :-)

Take care and God Bless you ALL,

More Pack, Pack, Packing...

Today Shane and I spent ALL day packing and sorting, packing and sorting...It has been an exhausting day of just packing, sorting, organising to store and to take, or to give away, and to throw away!

Shane borrowed his bosses small truck last night, ( Thanks HEAPS Ben ) and he packed it full of our belongings that are getting stored at his dads house ( Thanks HEAPS Greg ).

The girls rooms got cleaned out and mainly clothes remain, their beds and only a few other things remain. The caravan has had and continues to have ( if you know me, you know I'm a bit of a clean freak ) a good cleaning, and we've already started to pack " our new home on wheels " with all the items the girls want to bring along with us, we just gave them some small boxes and they carefully selected some special items/toys to put in the boxes to bring along!

We are sooooooo exhausted and a bit anxious, we have soooo much to do and so little time to do it.
As far as time goes, plan A has us leaving on our house settlement date which is Monday, 14th December and plan B has us leaving about 1 week or so after that which is around 21st or 22nd or 23rd of December!
Hopefully plan A works out ( I'm always hopeful ), but we don't have a vehicle yet and we still have so many things to do, so we may have to go with plan B. We will see what happens!

I'm reminded to...TRUST God, I'm reminded of how much we LOVE God and how much I LOVE these CHAMPIONS and that we are doing this for GOD and for His plans and purpose for our lives and for each other and the LOVE we have for each other.
For the Love of God, For the LOVE of Family, For the LOVE of People...

Love these People Sooooo Much...

My Absolute Favourite verse...
I'm also reminded of how VERY much God LOVES us and wants us to TRUST HIM :-)

Our New Home...

....will arrive here shortly, not today though. It will arrive soon, but I can't tell you the actual day because we are surprising the Girl's, so they don't even know what day its actually going to be sitting in our driveway...As soon as they know, I'll share pics of our new home!

Well, I'm sure you've worked out our new home isn't a house, since it'll be sitting in our driveway and since we will be travelling in it, Haha.

I'll show you a sneak peek of Our Home. I took these pics at the dealership!
Here's Just a sneak peek...

Home Sweet Home...
See that wonderfully large awning, I'm picturing sitting under that, in my comfy camp chair, drinking my icy cold ice coffee, after just returning from a very looong day at the beach, I can smell the beautiful ocean, can you?  Haha!

My Spunky Hubby with Peter the Roma Salesman...

We purchased our caravan from Melbourne Roma Caravans in Campbellfield, Victoria.
Peter is one of the salesmen at Roma and he is GREAT to deal with, he is very friendly and super helpful and he gave us a tonne of advice!

Thanks peter for your friendly customer service and advice!

Oh and I'll be back soon ( not today ) to walk you through our Humble Abode :-)

Our Girls Are UNBELIEVABLE...

Don't you just LOVE Kids? They are the BEST.......

Our girls are just so kind, smart and sooooo beautiful ( I can brag can't I? Haha ).
They decided they wanted to help raise some money for our journey, in particular, they wanted to raise some ice cream money for along the way. We intend on finding and eating some of the BEST ice cream in Australia, its one of our favourite sweet treats, YUMMY!

The girls decided to have a car wash in our front yard and at the some time they would sell some of our churches fundraiser chocolates, such clever cookies they are :-)

Well, they planned it and they did it, and they did a BRILLIANT job of it too ( Yes, I'm bragging again :-) )
They sold some chocolates for the church fundraiser and they also made $15 washing cars, they even had a few people ask if they would have another car wash in a few weeks because they couldn't make it to the car wash that day!

Oh, and then they attacked Shane.....Haha!

We are Sooooo proud of them, they Love being helpful and serving God...

FUN times ahead...

Then the fun times began, well maybe not FUN...Haha!
I mean the packing began. Its been "FUN" to go through old photos, the girls art work and old baby clothes and toys, its been a GREAT trip down memory lane.

Its funny how many "things" you accumulate over the years and we are the type of people who have a clean home and often have a good clean out every so often, yet we still have quite a lot of possessions!

So we've been sorting through our possessions and we have given away and donated many of our things and the rest of it, we are slowly sorting through and packing.
Shane's dad has been kind enough to allow us to store a lot of our belongs in his unused rumpus room and we also are leaving a few extra items at my mums house. Thank God we can do this, storage expenses would be a big chunk out of our budget.

So the sorting and packing continues until its time to say GOODBYE to our home and move on to our next home, our caravan!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Greg and Mum for helping us out xoxox

Take Care,
Dimi xoxox
